Reminder: Advancing Nuclear Power Generation in Arizona Workshop #1

Phoenix, Ariz.— Arizona Corporation Commission Vice Chairman Nick Myers and Commissioner René Lopez will host a Workshop on Advancing Nuclear Power Generation in Arizona on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

Mission: Through the engagement of community partners, develop the strategy, deliverables, and roadmap that will enable the development of Advanced Nuclear Power generation in Arizona by 2035.

Purpose: This workshop aims to educate all stakeholders and the public on the state of Advanced Nuclear Power generation in the U.S. and Arizona, and to set the expectations of future technologies and their possible feasibility for development in the near or distant future
