Phoenix, Ariz. - The Securities Division (“Division”) of the Arizona Corporation Commission (“ACC”) filed a Temporary Cease and Desist Order against Christopher Michael Maxon a.k.a Chris Maxon (“Maxon”) and IVT Media Group LLC (“IVT”) (collectively, “Respondents”), alleging that they violated the Arizona Securities Act by offering and selling unregistered securities in Arizona.
Maxon, an Arizona resident, has stated that he is IVT’s founder and CEO. IVT is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming with offices in Glendale and Peoria, Arizona.
The Division alleges that, while not registered to offer and sell investments in Arizona, Maxon and IVT solicited investors to buy an initial coin offering of digital assets known as Iron Vault Tokens “IV-SOL”, royalty positions, and real estate acquisition returns as a part of a three-phase stablecoin. Both Maxon and IVT have promoted these opportunities as a no-risk investment and forever-generative returns with IV-SOL scheduled to launch on October 1st, 2026. The Division alleges that Maxon has not disclosed his business history to investors which includes being a lien debtor for approximately $15,000 since 2005, having at least five individuals publicly complain they were scammed by two of Maxon’s consumer cash businesses, and more recently, during 2022 and 2023, Maxon was evicted and was declared a judgment debtor in New York for at least $300,000 and in Arizona for at least $553,500. None of Maxon’s prior financial background information is disclosed in IVT’s publicly available materials.
In addition to administrative penalties, the Division seeks Maxon and IVT, and any of their agents, to permanently cease and desist from violating the Arizona Securities Act and requests both Maxon and IVT to take affirmative actions to correct the conditions including making restitution to investors. Unless otherwise ordered by the ACC, this Temporary Order shall remain effective from the date a hearing is requested until a decision is entered.
