Phoenix, Ariz.— At the Arizona Corporation Commission’s (ACC) April 8, 2026, regular open meeting, Chairman Nick Myers joined the Commission in a 5-0 vote authorizing ACC staff to provide comments or join comments from the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) with respect to the notice of proposed rulemaking by the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) Combatting Illegal Robocalls Through FCC Numbering Policies.

“Today’s vote reflects our commitment to combatting illegal robocalls,” stated Chairman Myers. “By working alongside our colleagues at NARUC and engaging in the FCC’s rulemaking process, we can work towards protecting Arizona consumers from the growing threat of illegal robocalls and holding bad actors accountable.”
