ACC is Digitizing its Microfilm Collection of Historical Hearing Documents

The Arizona Corporation Commission is pleased to announce that we are in the process of digitizing the microfilm of historical hearing documents. With the assistance, in part, of a grant of $132,355 from the National Archives’ National Historical Publications and Records Commission (https://www.archives.gov/nhprc), many historic records will soon be available for viewing online.

eDocket will contain a historic tab to enable people to view some of the Commission’s earliest Decisions.   Orders will be able to be searched by decision number going back to 1918.  Eventually, the search feature will be enhanced to allow searches by Company name, date range and other pertinent information.  As the project progresses, we will continue to add more filings for a complete record of many historic dockets.

The microfilm digitization program is already underway, and we hope it will be available to the public in late spring 2024. We believe this information will be valuable for research and for a better understanding of the history of the Commission and of the State of Arizona.

A Special Thank You to the National Historical Publications and Records Commission for Making This Possible!
