We are looking for accomplished professionals looking to resolve matters concerning the location of transmission lines and electric generating plants. The Committee has jurisdiction over proposed plants that generate over 100 megawatts and proposed above-ground transmission lines designed for at least 115kV. The Committee convenes for public hearings, deliberates on a proposal, and delivers a recommendation to the Commission that may include conditions or restrictions. The Commissioners then vote to accept, modify, or reject the recommendation. To learn more about the Line Siting Committee, click here.
