ATTENDANCE: No Quorum of Commissioners. TOPIC:Consumer Information Advisory Panel Meeting
MATTERS DISCUSSED:
Connie Walczak, Commission Staff, opened the meeting welcoming the Panel Members. Staff and Panel were introduced.
Connie Walczak, Commission Staff advised the Panel that the meeting was being taped to provide any Panel Members unable to attend, an opportunity to listen to the meeting. Copies of the tapes will be available upon request. Minutes will be e-mailed to all Panel Members the week after the meeting, along with any necessary attachments so all members can be kept updated. A reminder will be e-mailed to the Panel one week prior to the meeting date to provide time to schedule the meeting. The Agenda will be e-mailed the week of the meeting.
Jennifer Donlon, Commission Staff, opened discussions regarding the revised Frequently Asked Questions - Commercial and the Commercial Consumer Checklist. After a review, several changes and adjustments were made. The Panel agreed to the final draft, which will be e-mailed to the Panel as an attachment to the minutes. The Panel will review the revised draft and any comments will need to be e-mailed to Staff.
Staff asked the Panel to review R14-2-1617 Disclosure of Information and determine if any clarification was necessary. After discussion, suggestions were made which will be presented at the upcoming Rules Revision Meeting. Also discussed was the label and information required for customers to make comparisons among Load-Serving Entities.
The Panel was updated on the status of the Request For Proposal (RFP) that will provide bids for the Brochures and Public Service Announcements. It is still in the hands of the Arizona Department of Administration and moving through normal channels. The Utilities Director is closely monitoring the RFP. Staff advised the ACC Presentation would soon be available upon request. Calls have been received from several community groups requesting a presentation in the near future.
The Panel questioned when the list of Electric Service Provides on the web site would be updated, as there have been some changes to the original list. Staff advised the update is being worked on at this time and the web site would be updated within the following week.
The next meeting of the Consumer Information Advisory Panel is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2000, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Pipeline Safety Conference Room, 1200 W. Washington, Phoenix, Arizona 85007.
The meeting adjourned at 12:15 p.m.
