| MATTERS DISCUSSED: |
| Connie Walczak, Commission Staff, opened the meeting welcoming the Panel Members. Grupo Ñ Advertising, Panel and Staff were introduced. |
| Barbara Keene, Commission Staff, provided the Panel with label standards and guidelines. A recommendation for a possible waiver of the label was suggested. After much discussion, a request was made to dedicate the June meeting to further discussion on the label. Each affected Panel member was asked to bring their ideas for language for the recommendation in written submissions to the next meeting. |
| David Diaz from Grupo Ñ Advertising gave a brief overview of the video script along with a tentative timetable of events for casting and filming. The Panel was asked for feedback on the script. Suggestions were made to modify the material but not include material that would date the video. Additional suggestions or changes for the script are to be e-mailed to Barbara Wytaske and David Diaz by noon May 5th. |
| The next meeting of the Consumer Information Advisory Panel is scheduled for Friday, June 15, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room, 2nd Floor , 1200 West Washington, Phoenix, Arizona. The agenda and any related materials will be sent to all Panel members prior to the meeting. |
